We get Letters: One of our favorites, from Faye
Hi Ken,
Just thought a
quick note was in order to say Thank You. In looking back
over the past more than 10 years of my life I have to realize I
owe you a big thank you. You have offered me the opportunity to
have a career, a business that I love, that I was able to get
started on a shoe string, (and a shoe string was all I had at
the time due to another failed business venture that cost me my
life savings). Over the years I have been able to work a 4 day
week a job --- OK, seven in the summer because I like big
dollars, and I get up in the morning knowing my job will be fun.
I love going to work, love what I do, love having no boss or no
one to tell me what to do or when to do it. I love making people
happy and my customers buying products you designed are always
happy.
I am just one person, I am sure there are hundreds if not
thousands of people running the same successful business and
making a living from it like I do. I sometimes wonder the true
dollar amount of just first name meanings that are sold in a
year, let along the poems, pet keepsakes and other products. I
know it pays my mortgage payment, buys my groceries, puts gas in
the car, actually bought the car, pays for all the extra for the
grandchildren, including everything for the one that I'm
raising, I basically make my total living from your products and
it's a decent middle class living.
I also appreciate the Christmas time business message you send
every year. It always invokes thought and reflection as well as
hope for the future. I just thought maybe someone needed to let
you know, that you have done so much for so many people. You may
just think it's your job that you do to make your living, but it
far reaches and you have created jobs for thousands of others by
your creativity, and the great job you do when you develop a
program. Your program are the best out there, I've bought others
that were in effect a waste of money. The ease and consistent
manner in which yours function make them the #1 programs of my
choice. I can't believe I didn't even load the last name program
for 5 months, it is so far superior to the other one I've been
using, I'm counting the dollars I have lost by not using it for
5 months, LOL.
Anyway, I just wanted to drop you a line and say Thanks from the
bottom of my heart. I hope you and your family will have a
wonderful Christmas and a great, prosperous New Year.
